
Liberty's 6 Conference Titles Tied for Most in Virginia

Liberty enjoyed a successful year of athletics competition in 2014-15, winning six conference titles. That tied the Flames with Virginia and William & Mary for the most conference championships of any NCAA Division I university in Virginia, according to information released by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID).
The Flames captured Big South titles in football, women's basketball, men's indoor and outdoor track & field and women's outdoor track & field, along with a NorPac title in field hockey. Additionally, the Liberty women's soccer team earned the Big South regular-season crown.
Liberty's teams compiled an overall record of 230-155-3 in 2014-15, good for a winning percentage of .597 and fourth place among Virginia's NCAA Division I institutions. The Flames trailed only Virginia (.671), James Madison (.626) and Old Dominion (.609).
For women's teams, Liberty finished second to James Madison (.721) with a combined winning percentage of .641 (151-84-2) on the year.
