Pitcher Jared Lyons pitched eight scoreless innings and center fielder Ashton Perritt had four hits, including a home run, as the Liberty Flames defeated the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, 10-0, Friday evening at CSU Ballpark.

Perritt then singled to left field, scoring Yacyk with the game's first run of the contest. Right fielder Will Shepherd followed with a run-scoring single for a 2-0 edge.
Perritt extended the Liberty advantage in the sixth. With one out, second baseman Nick Salisbury singled. Two batters later, Perritt belted a 1-0 pitch over the right-center field fence, giving the Flames a 4-0 lead.
Liberty batted around in the eighth, putting the game out of reach. Kimble started the five-run inning with a one-out single and stole second.
