
Liberty Student-Athletes Close Out 2013-14 with 3.13 GPA

With the 2013-14 academic year coming to a close recently, Liberty student-athletes have a reason to celebrate. This year, the Flames and Lady Flames closed out the campaign with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.13, marking the highest cumulative GPA in Liberty Athletics history.
Along with breaking the 3.1 barrier for the first time, 14 different teams achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher. Liberty's women's tennis program earned the highest GPA among the university's teams, garnering a 3.51 GPA for the year. Field hockey followed close behind with a 3.5, while volleyball rounded out the top three with a 3.48.
