With men's basketball boot camp underway, Liberty Flames Sports Network's Alan York caught up with head coach Dale Layer and center Joel Vander Pol. During the pair of interviews, the coach and player discuss the ongoing training sessions and look back at the progress made in the offseason.
Liberty opens its season on Nov. 8, playing host to Randolph College inside the Vines Center. Game time is slated for 8 p.m.
