Allen led the Flames and ranked No. 2 in the Big South, rushing for 1,019 yards and 10 touchdowns during the 2012 season. The Colbert, Ga., native had four 100-yard rushing performances last year and was the ninth player in program history to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season.
Liberty's football program is currently in its spring practice workouts and will play its annual spring football game at Williams Stadium on April 13.
