Following the completion of a very strong fall season for the Liberty Flames men's tennis squad, Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network recently caught up with head coach Chris Johnson and reflected on the fall season and talked about the upcoming spring schedule.
During the interview, Johnson previews the Flames recently released spring schedule and what his expectations are for the team heading in to 2014. The eighth-year head coach also recaps the fall and the stellar performances of Shea Thomas and Jorge Azuero and their appearance in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships.
Liberty opens the 2014 spring season on Jan. 18 against Morehead State. The match will take place at the Greenbrier Resort on White Sulpher Springs, W.Va.
