Head coach Danny Rocco held his weekly press conference for the local Lynchburg media earlier today in the Donor Room of the Williams Football Operations Center.
During the 30-minute meeting with the media, Rocco discussed his thoughts about Liberty's recent setback to No. 13/14 James Madison on Saturday and the Flames' upcoming meeting with No. 15/16 Lehigh.
The game, Liberty's second straight against a Top 25 program, will be the Flames' second road contest of the year. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Flames and the Mountain Hawks in Bethlehem, Pa., and the second meeting in the series between the two programs. Lehigh and Liberty first met on Sept. 18, 2004, where the Mountain Hawks secured a 34-16 victory inside of Williams Stadium.
Lehigh has one of the most explosive offenses in the country, as the Mountain Hawks have averaged 41.33 points per game through the first three contests of 2011 and are 2-1 on the season.
The game will feature two of the top offensive weapons in FCS this season. Lehigh's quarterback Chris Lum ranks No. 2 in the country in total offense (394.00 yards per game), while Flames quarterback Mike Brown ranks No. 7 (313.67 yards per game).
Lum leads all quarterbacks in the country with 14 passing touchdowns, while ranking No. 2 by averaging 377.00 passing yards per game.
