2011 Football Season Ticket Information
Less than four weeks remain before the Flames hold their home opener against Robert Morris on Sept. 10, marking the beginning of another season of action inside Williams Stadium.
With the Liberty football home opener 26 days away, LibertyFlames.com would like to remind you that season tickets for the 2011 football season are on sale through the Flames Ticket Office. Individual game tickets will go on sale on Aug. 31.
General admission season tickets start at $65 are available for purchase online by clicking here, at the Vines Center Ticket Office or by calling the ticket office at (434) 582-SEAT (7328). Discounts are available for Liberty University faculty and staff. Reserved, Premium and Club seating are also available. This past season, the Flames finished the year 4-0 in the newly renovated Williams Stadium, complete with a five-story press tower and an enhanced seating capacity of 19,200. Liberty Athletics showcased the renovated facility on Oct. 2, 2010, bringing in 19,314 fans for the grand re-opening and setting a new Williams Stadium attendance record. Head coach Danny Rocco's squad did not disappoint that night, as Liberty cruised past Savannah State, 52-14.
Liberty's next two home games, against Charleston Southern and Gardner-Webb brought in 18,587 and 16,441 fans, respectively, placing them at No. 2 and No. 3 on Williams Stadium's all-time attendance listing. During their final game last season, the Flames defeated Stony Brook 54-28 on Nov. 20, to hoist their fourth-straight Big South Championship on the stadium's field.
"The Quest Continues" for Liberty's squad that finished the 2010 season ranked No. 19 in the final FCS Coaches poll and No. 21 in the last Sports Network/Fathead.com listing.
The Flames will host a half dozen opponents inside Williams Stadium in 2011, including a pair of 2010 NCAA FCS Playoff participants (Robert Morris and Coastal Carolina) and perennial FCS powerhouse James Madison.
