
Lady Flames Return to Mid-Major Top 25

After winning 14 of its last 16 games, Liberty has returned to the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25. The Lady Flames are listed No. 25 this week.
Liberty, which was last ranked on Nov. 23, boasts an 18-9 overall record. The Lady Flames lead the Big South Conference standings at 12-2 and have wrapped up at least a share of the regular-season conference title.
Green Bay remains atop the Mid-Major Top 25, followed by Gonzaga, Marist, Princeton and Bowling Green.
The women's Mid-Major Top 25 is comprised of teams from the America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Great West, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt and West Coast Conference.
Liberty will wrap up the 2010-11 regular season with home games Friday and Monday. The Lady Flames will host UNC Asheville Friday at 7 p.m. for Senior Night, as the trio of Kittery Maine, Rachel McLeod and Dymond Morgan will be honored.
Presbyterian College will then visit Liberty Monday at 7 p.m. for both teams' regular-season finale.
