Leading into each weekend's football match-up, the Flames Sports Network will release a video preview package, taking an in-depth look into Liberty's upcoming opponent.
During this week's FSN Opponent Preview, Alan York of the Flames Sports Network takes a look at Liberty's game at Charleston Southern, Liberty's second Big South road game.
The Flames have controlled the pace of play in the series between the Buccaneers, winning 16 out of 18 games against Charleston Southern and all five under head coach Danny Rocco.
Last year's meeting between the Flames and the Buccaneers remained close for the first 45 minutes of action, with Charleston Southern pulling within two points, 16-14, with a 22-yard touchdown run by B.J. Hackworth with 7:02 left to play in the third quarter.
However, Liberty scored 28 points during the final 12 minutes of play to secure a 44-20 Homecoming victory over Charleston Southern to start its march toward a fourth-straight Big South title.
Charleston Southern has lost 13 of its last 14 football games and its current seven-game losing skid is the third-longest active FCS losing streak in the country.
