On Tuesday night, the Liberty University Athletics Department held a special a preview reception for the holders of its new luxury suites, which are part of the newly expanded Williams Stadium.
Each of the 18 19'x13' luxury suites have been sold this year and the Athletics Department is currently placing future interested parties on a waiting list (for more information, please click here).
Several of this year's suite holders were able to attend tonight's kickoff reception, which is the first open event which has allowed members of the public to see the inside of the five-story facility.Bob Good, Liberty's Director of Athletics Development, and his Flames Club staff welcomed the suite holders with a reception in the Donor Room of the Williams Football Operations Center starting at 7 p.m.
Following some time to mingle and to meet with other suite holders, Good addressed the eager crowd, going over game day instructions for the suites, including information about catering. The brief presentation closed with a time where Jeff Barber, Liberty's Director of Athletics, thanked this year's suite holders and the financial commitment they have made to Liberty Athletics.
The Flames Club staff members then took those in attendance for a tour of the nearly completed five-story facility. Following time on the Flames Club Pavilion level (third floor) and the press level (fifth floor), each suite holders was able to spend some time in their own suite and tour the rest of the fourth floor.
Liberty is less than 12 full days away from re-opening Williams Stadium and debuting its newly constructed press and suite tower, when the Flames host Savannah State on Oct. 2. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m., which will begin a memorable night in the history of Liberty Athletics.
