Today, LibertyFlames.com provides an in-depth look at a recent Liberty men's basketball road trip. Hosted by Flames guard Bill Weaver, the 12-minute feature gives Flames fans a sneak peek at the team's pregame shoot-around, film sessions and chapel service.
Fresh off a road win against second place Radford this past Saturday, Liberty is one of five teams holding a 5-4 record in conference play. The Flames look to separate themselves from the crowd on Thursday, as they return to the Vines Center to host fellow Commonwealth competitor, VMI.
In their previous meeting with the Keydets in Lexington, Va., on Jan. 2, the Flames rallied from being down 18 points in the first half, earning a 110-102 victory. VMI is also coming off a standings altering road win, edging the High Point Panthers, 94-91, at the Millis Center on Saturday. Tipoff for Thursday's contest is scheduled for 7 p.m.
