
Flames Ranked Seventh in Region

The Liberty men's cross country squad is ranked seventh in the Southeast Region, according the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).The Flames, who finished second behind VMI in last weekend's Big South Preview in Winston-Salem, N.C., dropped down from the sixth position they earned as part of the preseason poll.
The Flames are preceded by No. 1 William & Mary, No. 2 Virginia, No. 3 N.C. State, No. 4 Duke, No. 5 Virginia Tech and No. 6 Richmond.
Both Liberty's men's and women's squads will be back in action this weekend at the Hagan Stone Park Classic in Greensboro, N.C. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
