Flames Sports Network TV Affiliates
In a deal which will more than double Liberty Athletics' television coverage around the country and worldwide, Liberty has announced that JCTV will be airing the Flames' home football and men's basketball games throughout the 2009-10 season.
Starting with a re-air of Liberty's 35-10 victory over North Carolina Central, JCTV is currently scheduled to air the first five home football games of Flames' 2009 season.
The re-air of Liberty's season-opening victory is slated to run on Saturday at 1 p.m. (EST). The remaining four games will air approximately two hours following kickoff, beginning with Liberty's game against James Madison (7 p.m., kickoff), which will air at 9 p.m. (EST) on Sept. 26.
Following the football season, JCTV will continue to air the Flames Sports Network's coverage of the Liberty men's basketball program, as they air each national home game on a two-hour tape-delayed basis. The first basketball game to be aired on JCTV will be Nov. 19, when the Flames host in-state foe Old Dominion. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the tape-delayed broadcast is slated to begin at 9 p.m.
JCTV, a division of the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), is one of the leading Christian television networks in the United States and worldwide. Covering 90 million homes, JCTV is available in most markets around country, as well as on DirecTV (Channel 372) and Dish Network (Channel 260).
TBN is America's most viewed religious network. TBN features the best in faith and inspirational programs that include a wide variety of denominations. Its program formats include worship, variety, music, children's, news, sports, talk and live anointed programs.
TBN produces more original programs than any other religious network, worldwide. This venture with Liberty Athletics will be the first regular sports event cover by TBN.
The television branch of the Flames Sports Network (FSN) has been broadcasting Liberty's home athletics events since the 2003-04 season. FSN is currently in its third season of covering Liberty's two-time Big South champion football program.
Prior to the agreement with JCTV, FSN television coverage was reaching roughly 40 million homes around the country. FSN's television partners also include networks and stations such as FamilyNet, MASN, WTLU, WRTV, WGGN, KCFT, WAAY, WBGR, WWMB and WPDE.
