Rocco Previews Coastal Carolina with Media

Following a week without competition, head coach Danny Rocco returned to the Donor Room in the Williams Football Operations Center for his weekly meeting with the media, where he previewed Liberty's upcoming match-up with Coastal Carolina.
The match-up will feature two programs who have claimed the last five Big South Conference championships. The overall series, which began when Coastal Carolina started its program in 2003, is tied at 3-3, with Liberty taking the last two match-ups.
Below are the questions Rocco fielded from the media during his weekly 30-minute press conference:
• Began with comments about Liberty's open week, including the program's goals and objectives during the week away from competition, the program's "self scout" after five weeks of play, time spent evaluating current recruits, time taken to look at younger players and the team's early preparation for the Coastal Carolina game
• Previewed Liberty's match-up with Coastal Carolina, which included comments on how pivotal this game will be for both Liberty and Coastal Carolina and how the match-up has started to become the trend setter for the remainder of the Big South season
• Responded to a question following his comments about taking a look at some of the younger players during the "bye week" and if they would see any additional playing time because of the extra evaluation
• Talked about Danny Broggin's playing status at the running back position and what impressed the coaching staff following his solid showing against West Virginia Wesleyan
