Have you ever sat up in the stands at Williams Stadium and wondered what No. 13's favorite movie is or what songs No. 34 listens to on his iPod prior to kickoff earlier in the day?
Well, LibertyFlames.com is here to give fans a further glimpse into the players behind the numbered jerseys in this season-long campaign where the web site gives you a look at the players within the program.
The Behind the Numbers with the Flames segment will run weekly throughout the year, giving Flames fans further insight into their favorite players off the gridiron. Each Friday, the web site will feature the answers from players, as they were asked to ponder life's more "difficult" questions upon returning to training camp this fall.
Today, LibertyFlames.com will reveal its player questionnaire responses from long snapper Dan Pope, linebacker Wes Cheek, defensive lineman Terry Adams and kicker Matt Bevins.

1. What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
DP – Psalms 23, because it shows that God is always with us.
WC – Philippians 4:13, because it lays it all out short and sweet.
TA – John 3:16, because it's very powerful.
MB – 2 Corinthians 5:17; because if you're in Christ, you're a new creation and the old you has gone.
2. What is your favorite movie and why?
DP – Armageddon or Apollo 13.
WC – Billy Madison, because I love Adam Sandler.
TA – Blue Streak, because Martin Lawrence is funny.
MB – Forrest Gump, because it is funny with some history at same time.
3. What is your favorite memory while competing in your sport?
DP – Coming into the game as a back-up quarterback when the starter got hurt in high school and throwing two touchdown passes to beat our conference rivals.
WC – Beating the No. 1 team in state in high school.
MB – Making a career-long 48-yard field goal in a game.
4. What is your most embarrassing memory while competing in your sport?
DP– Snapping the ball about 10 feet over the punter's head in high school.
MB – getting juked on a kickoff.
5. I came to Liberty because …
DP – I heard great things about the school and I wanted to play football. I also had friends from high school who came here.
WC – the atmosphere, the coaching staff and the program.
TA – to get an education, play football and because of the level of spirituality.
MB – It's a great school spiritually, academically and athletically.
6. Share something that people don't know about you or makes you unique from others.
DP– I have my pilot's license.
WC – I love to play guitar.
TA – I love to work hard.
MB – I wear the same shirt under my jersey every game.
7. What has been your defining moment as an athlete?
DP – So far, it is winning the Big South, becoming an All-American and earning Big South all-conference honors.
TA – Getting a full scholarship to Liberty.
MB – Competing with top kickers in country and being ranked No. 23 in the country by Scout.com.
8. My first car was …
DP – a 1973 Mach I Mustang.
WC – a 1981 Scottsdale pick-up truck.
TA – a Honda Civic.
MB – a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
9. If you could be somebody else for a day, who would you be and why?
DP – President George Bush, so I could find out all that stuff that nobody knows about.
WC – Coach Danny Rocco, so I could boss everyone else around.
TA – It would be Ray Lewis, because he is a very outstanding player.
MB – My grandfather, because he's loving, caring and lives life for Christ.
10. Who is your favorite Liberty athlete?
DP – Ben Shipps
WC – Chad Brown
TA – Zach Terrell

11. What is the best advice you have ever been given?
DP– Everything happens for a reason and never, ever give up.
WC – The past is history and the future is a mystery … it's all about now.
TA – Always play like it's your last down.
MB – Don't give up.
12. If you could change one rule in your sport, what would it be and why?
DP – Create a rule where long snappers could score points … maybe for perfect snaps.
WC – Late hits are legal, because those are the funniest.
TA – Outlaw penalties.
13. After graduation I would like to …
DP – work at a great company and use my degree to the fullest.
WC – move home to Georgia and start working.
TA – work for the FBI.
MB – either work in the marketing department of a professional team or work as a scout.
14. When I have an hour of free time, I like to …
DP – just relax and maybe watch some TV, because it doesn't happen very often.
WC – play guitar or watch TV.
TA – play games.
MB – chill and play video games.
15. Words that describe me on the athletic field (and why) are …
DP – Consistent and same every day, because I try to be the same player every day and do all my snaps perfectly.
WC – full speed and a hard worker.
TA – quick and smart.
MB – cool and consistent, because you have to be both for a good kicker.
16. If you could compete in any sport against any athlete, who would it be and why?
TA – Boxing, because I have fast hands.
MB – Tiger Woods, because he is the best golfer in the world.
17. My craziest ambition in life is to …
DP – try out as a long snapper in the NFL.
TA – play in the NFL.
18. Do you have any pre-game rituals?
DP – Listen to music and eat a FastBreak candy bar.
WC – None
TA – Listen to Pastor Troy.
MB – Listen to iPod and stretch.
19. If you could have dinner with three people throughout history, who would they be and why?
DP – Jesus, General George Patton and George Washington
WC – Robert E. Lee, Andrew Jackson and John D. Rockefeller
TA – Ray Lewis, Bruce Smith and Reggie White, because they all demonstrate how to be great athletes.
MB – George Washington, John D. Rockefeller and Martin Luther King, Jr., because they're great people that had good goals set in mind.
20. A place I've always wanted to visit, but never had the chance is (and why)?
DP – I would like to go to Switzerland and go skiing in the Alps.
WC – Australia
TA – Jamaica, because I don't know if I will ever have the money.
MB – Hawaii, because of the nice waves and beaches.
21. I choose my uniform number because …
DP – it was given to me when I first got here and now it is stuck.
TA – I have an opinion.
MB – I was actually given the No. 49, but I like it.
22. What are four or five things you could not live without?
DP – Food, my family and TV (especially the Discovery Channel)
TA – Family, food, money, football and friends.
MB – Christ/God, parents, family, my girlfriend and my cell phone.

DP – have perfect snaps, make at least 10 tackles on special teams and help the team do the best they can.
TA – to make big things happen on the field.
MB – to be starting kicker or punter.
24. What sets football apart as a sport and makes it appealing to you?
DP – It is definitely a team sport, as everyone has to work together. Plus it's just fun.
WC – You can hit people and get away with it.
MB – You have to be in great shape, and I just love to kick.
25. If I won a million dollars, I would …
DP – give a lot to my mom, because she has given so much to me.
WC – pay off all my parents' and families' bills.
TA – give 10 percent to church and then buy my mother a nice house.
MB – Buy my parents and grandparents a new home.

DP – Popeye

DP – I don't have an iPod.

DP – that I am quiet.
TA – I am very nice and make you feel welcomed.

29. When you were a little child, what did you want to be "when you grew up" and are you pursuing it still as a career/profession after graduation?
DP – I wanted to play college football and I got to, plus I wanted to get a business degree and I am.
TA – To play in the NFL, so yes I am still pursuing it.
MB – I wanted to be a lawyer, so no as I know plan to work in athletics.
30. If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
DP – I would want to be able to fly, because I could get anywhere fast and not have to pay for a ticket.
WC – be invisible.
TA – To fly, because I could get to places faster.
