The Games
The Liberty University Flames (23-16, 5-4 Big South) host the Radford University Highlanders (8-25, 1-11 Big South) in a Big South three-game series, Friday-Sunday, April 20-22, at Worthington Stadium. Friday's first pitch between the intra-state conference rivals is scheduled for 3 p.m., follow by a Noon starting time for Saturday's contest. The series will wrap-up on Sunday with the third game of the series set for 2 p.m.
The Series Against Radford
Friday's series opener will be the 60th meeting between the Flames and the Highlanders on the diamond since 1976. Liberty has faced Radford more times in baseball than any other school, with the Flames holding a 36-23 advantage all-time.
Last season, Liberty swept a three-game series from Radford, 16-6, 9-4 and 6-5 at Dedmon Park, April 7-9.
In 2005 at Worthington Stadium, the Highlanders took the first game, 5-4, while the Flames capture the last two games, 8-5 and 11-4.

Liberty's Tim Nanry went went 3-for-4 with a walk and P. K. Keller also had three hits in the game, but it wasn't enough, as James Madison lead from start to finish in downing the Flames, 11-2, Wednesday afternoon at Worthington Stadium.
Keller continued his hot hitting by recording his third three-hit game in his last five contests in the contest.

This season, the Flames Sports Network plans to broadcast 20 Liberty baseball regular season games. Games will air live on WWMC 90.9 FM "The Light" and on the World Wide Web at both www.LibertyFlames.com and www.thelightonline.com. The station's plans to broadcast Fridays and Sunday's contests against Radford. Friday's broadcast is scheduled to begin around 3 p.m, with Sunday's game set to begin at 2 p.m.
