
Liberty Women Close Fall Season at ITA Regionals

Jordan Jenkins won her opening singles match, as Liberty's women's tennis team closed out its fall season this past weekend at the ITA Southeast Regionals at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Jenkins defeated Virginia's Laura Alexander in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5, in the first round to advance to the second round. The Lady Flames' newcomer fell to top-seeded Megan Moulton-Levy of William & Mary, 6-0, 6-0 in the second-round match.
On the doubles side, the team of Martyna Hanusz and Stephanie Brown dropped its opening match, 8-2, against West Virginia's Monica Lyskawa and Stacey Percival.
The ITA's bring to a close a successful fall season for the Lady Flames. Liberty will begin its spring season in late February.
