Zach Kunar stepped into his role as Director of Fan Experience and Promotions in May 2025.
Kunar previously served as Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement at McNeese during the 2024-25 school year and as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement at McNeese during the 2023-24 school year. He oversaw marketing and game presentation for McNeese football, men’s basketball and baseball.
Kunar gained other experience with the Burlington Sock Puppets as an Experience and Promotions Manager and as a Marketing and Game Presentation Intern with the Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets. While with the Burlington Sock Puppets, he assisted the organization in winning the 2022 Organization of the Year in the Appalachian League.
Kunar earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Liberty in May 2022. Prior to graduating from Liberty, Kunar interned with the Fan Experience and Promotions department as a Marketing Coordinator, assisting with marketing efforts for the baseball, men's soccer and tennis programs.
Originally from Graham, N.C., Kunar resides in Lynchburg.
