Tony Buzzetta assumed his role as Ticket Sales and Service Consultant in May 2024.
In his current role, Buzzetta performs outbound calls for Liberty Athletics for all ticketed sports. He assists season ticket holders, Flames Club members and groups at Liberty sporting events as well as new outbound sales efforts. Buzzetta also maintains computerized records of all prospects and customers with a ticketing database. He works games and performs various ticket sales and service duties as assigned and agreed upon with the Ticket Sales and Operations leadership.
Buzzetta earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management with a minor in marketing from University of Lynchburg in May 2021. Prior to his role, he served as a Sports Information Assistant at Lynchburg for six years, helping with live stats and various positions at the scorers tables during games. He also assisted in a similar capacity with Liberty Athletics for the 2023-24 school year.
Buzzetta was selected to attend the Team USA Symposium Conference at the Colorado Springs United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center. He participated in a nationwide case study presenting to the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC).
Buzzetta currently resides in Lynchburg, Va.
