Shannon Lesniak assumed her role as Assistant AD and Executive Assistant to the Director of Athletics in July 2025.
Lesniak started with Liberty in May 2022 in the Real Estate Department as the Director of Admin Operations.
Lesniak is a graduate of Virginia Tech, earning a bachelor’s degree in hospitality & tourism management. Lesniak and her family served on the mission field in New Zealand from 2015-22.
Originally from Sterling, Va., Lesniak currently resides in Forest, Va. with her husband Matthew and three children – Alyson, Benjamin and Tommy. Alyson and Benjamin currently attend Liberty.
