Kayla Thomas assumed her position as Flames Club Associate in Sept. 2024.
In her current role, Thomas handles game day operations, including planning, prepping and executing all events and game day experiences for donors. She also assists with the Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association.
Prior to stepping into this position, Thomas worked at Liberty Club Sports from Oct. 2022-Sept. 2024, first as a Graduate Assistant for Events, Alumni and HR. She then transitioned to a full-time role as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator.
Thomas earned a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (non-licensure) from Liberty in May 2021 and also earned a minor degree in Spanish. She was named to the Dean’s List and received a TESOL Certificate. Thomas went on to earn a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language with Licensure in May 2023.
Thomas played on the unofficial club tennis team at Liberty from 2019-22 and on the club disc golf team for a semester during graduate school in 2022.
Thomas and her husband, Bailey, currently reside in Lynchburg.
