Jeremy Adams was promoted to his role of Director of Ticket Operations in July 2024.
Prior to his current role, Adams worked as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations from November 2023 to June 2024, and as a Ticket Office Associate (formally known as Graduate Assistant) from June 2022 to October 2023. Responsibilities included daily office tasks and being the assistant supervisor responsible for Theatre, Away Football, D1 Hockey, Kid’s Club, and Women’s Basketball. Adams started in the ticket office at Liberty as a practicum student in Spring of 2020, transitioned to event staff in the fall of 2020, and then to office and event supervisor in Spring of 2021.
In his current position, he assists with the coordination of ticket operations and is the lead coordinator for Men's Basketball, Away Football Games, and Commencement. Additionally, Adams oversees the system processes for Ballena and SeatGeek. Adams also supports university efforts with assisting with Homecoming Weekend for all ticket operations. Additionally, he serves as the primary office manager for day-to-day business operations of the ticket office including the creation of ticket sales reports, reconciliation statements and financial data summaries. Adams also oversees part-time staff including Ticket Office Associates, interns, practicums, and CSER staff for events.
Adams completed his bachelor’s degree in sport management and minor in business in 2022 and his master’s degree in sport management in 2024.
Adams holds membership with the National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations (NAATSO).
Adams volunteers with Sports Outreach Institute, located in Lynchburg, and oversees the basketball club and other camp activities for kids ages six through 12 years old.
Adams is a native of Pennsylvania and currently lives in Lynchburg.
