Ashley Dofflemyer (formerly Sennett) assumed her role as Assistant Athletic Trainer in May 2025. In her current role, Dofflemyerworks with the Liberty swimming & diving program and is responsible for injury evaluation, therapeutic invention strategic and collaborative sports medicine.

Prior to assuming her current position, Dofflemyerspent the previous year working with the University of Lynchburg women’s volleyball, women’s beach volleyball and women’s lacrosse teams.

Dofflemyerearned her bachelor’s degree from Liberty in May 2022 and graduated with cum laude honors. She was a member of the Liberty swimming & diving team for four years, and the squad won four conference titles in that time. Dofflemyer swam the mile, 500 and 200 backstroke for the Lady Flames from 2018-22.

Dofflemyer went on to earn a master’s degree in athletic training from Liberty in May 2024 and received the 2024 Academic Excellence Award in Athletic Training.

Dofflemyer, who is originally from Lynchburg, currently resides in Lynchburg. She is married to Timothy Dofflemyer. The couple was married in June 2025.
