Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty checked all the boxes for me. Amazing athletics, top notch facilities, great academics, Christ-centered community and my teammates are amazing, it’s truly championship culture!
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
For pregame I always listen to worship on the way (and during the day) and then listen to hype music getting ready. For postgame I’m always in the mood for a big meal! Or even some ice cream!
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My whole family inspires me. From my mom who cares about everyone and puts the family first to my dad who gives me the best pep talks and advice to my brother who pushes me physically and spiritually. I am incredibly blessed!
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Winning district and region 3 years in a row! Our district and region is very hard, so it’s very rare to do this!
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I choose to wear 15 because it was my dad’s number in high school!
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My uncle, Shaun Alexander, was a football player at the University of Alabama and then played for the Seattle Seahawks. My grandpa played for the University of Alabama under Bear Bryant. And then my brother is going to UNC (University of North Carolina Chapel Hill) next year to play football.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
Honestly, I love every meal but probably dinner! Especially post practice or game. It hits different!
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
My Oura Ring app.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
I love working out, playing any kind of sport, going on walks, and doing puzzles!
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
I loved Serena Williams because she is such an inspiration to all girls in women’s sports and I loved Kobe because he was a great player and a mental health advocate.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
I would love to go to Italy and visit my friend who lives there! I’d also love to go see the beautiful scenery, tour the historic site and eat so delicious food!
