Ben Galley is an Associate Athletic Trainer for Liberty field hockey and women's tennis.
He has provided athletic training services to Liberty field hockey since 2019 as well as the women’s tennis team. Galley assists in monitoring and caring for athletic training hydrotherapy areas and also aids in developing student-athlete mental health policies and procedures.
Galley has been a part of five conference championships, six regular season conference championships, six NCAA tournament appearances and one NCAA National Championship game appearance in his tenure at Liberty.
Galley earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic trainer from Liberty in 2009. The following year, he earned a master’s degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania.
Galley owns a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). He is also certified through the Board of Certification (BOC) and holds memberships with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association (MAATA) and the Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association (VATA).
Galley and his wife Katie have three children. Their family currently resides in Lynchburg, Va.
