Landon Miller joined the Liberty track & field/cross country staff as a volunteer assistant in 2022-23 following a successful senior season as a student-athlete in 2021-22.
Completing his final season of eligibility with the Flames, Miller lowered his steeplechase personal best to 8:52.00, placed third in the ASUN steeplechase final and ran the event at the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round meet in his home state of Indiana. Miller was named to the ASUN All-Academic Team for outdoor track & field.
Miller spent the first four years of his collegiate career at Indiana Wesleyan (2017-18 through 2020-21). In 2021, he competed at the NAIA national meet in indoor track (second in mile, third in 3K, eighth in DMR), cross country (33rd) and outdoor track (ninth in steeplechase).
Miller also captured four Crossroads League titles during his career, including the 2019 indoor DMR, 2021 indoor mile, 2021 indoor 5K and 2021 outdoor steeplechase.
A native of Milford, Ind., Miller graduated from Indiana Wesleyan in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a minor in coaching. He is currently working toward a master’s degree in sport management: coaching & athletic administration.
