Caralyn Ladd joined the track & field/cross country staff as director of operations in the spring of 2024.

In her current position, Ladd directs the program’s team and business operations. Her main areas of responsibility include team travel, budget planning and financial administration over recruiting, equipment and team-related operations.

Prior to her role as the director of operations, Ladd spent two seasons (2022-2024) with the women’s volleyball and men’s golf programs as a team operations assistant. In this position, she helped with team travel, recruiting coordination and financial operations.

Additionally, Ladd also spent two seasons (2022-2023) as a team operations assistant for the all-girl and coed cheerleading teams. In this position, she helped with team travel, recruiting coordination and financial operations.

During her time with cheerleading, women’s volleyball and men’s golf, Ladd worked a third position within the Academic Affairs for Athletics department (2022-2024). She began as a tutor for sport management courses and then transitioned into an academic enhancement role to help with student-athletes, tutors, academic development and community outreach needs.

Moving from Denver, Colo., Ladd transferred to Liberty in the fall of 2021. She graduated in the spring of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in sport management and anticipates graduation in the spring of 2025 for her Master of Science in sport management degree.
