Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I visited for CFAW on multiple occasions and loved the Christian community and biblical focus both inside and outside of the classroom. The Convocations felt special, and the students were always friendly and approachable.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I always pray about five minutes before my races, asking for peace, strength, and most of all that I would be used as an instrument for God's bigger plan and that all of my actions would be for His glory alone.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mother has always inspired me to be the best version of myself and to utilize my gifts for Christ, especially in fitness and athletics. She works as a group fitness instructor and uses her job as a platform to share God's work in her life with those around her.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Crossing the line at Running Lane XC Championships in 15:59.6, which was the first time I broke 16 minutes in the 5K. It was also the final cross country race of my high school career.
