What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
It was the best opportunity for football, and I wanted to better my relationship with Jesus Christ.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I pray before and after, just giving the Lord thanks for allowing me to play the game I love.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mom inspires me the most because she works so hard, so I want to give the world back to her.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Winning two state championships in high school.
- Saw playing time in one game
- Appeared against Buffalo in the Bahamas Bowl
- Saw playing time in four games
- Played against Bowling Green, WKU, Louisiana Tech and Old Dominion
- Graduated from Appomattox County High School in Appomattox, Va.
- Helped lead Appomattox County to back-to-back state championships as a sophomore and junior
- Second-team all-state quarterback as a freshman and sophomore
- First-team all-state quarterback as a junior and senior
- Named the Area Player of the Year as a junior
