2006 (Sr.): Big South first-team all-conference … VaSID second-team all-state … Football Gazette Central All-Region second-team … 2006 I-AA.org Preseason honorable-mention all-conference … started all 11 games at left tackle … graded out at a team-best 93 percent … led the team in knockdown blocks … did not allow a sack all season … was a part of an offensive line which helped Liberty rush for 2,035 yards and 23 touchdowns, ranking 18th nationally in rushing yards per game (185.0) … Liberty's offense finished ranked in the nation's top 20 teams in eight categories … the Flames tied for first nationally for fewest turnovers lost (8), sixth in fourth down conversions (71.4 percent), ninth in sacks allowed (1.00 per game), 10th in third down conversions (47.5 percent), 17th in rushing touchdowns (23), 18th in rushing offense (185 yards per game), 18th in time of possession (31:44) and 20th in fewest tackles for a loss allowed (4.55).
2005 (Jr.): Started nine contests in his first season with the Flames … was a member of an offensive line that helped freshman Zach Terrell garner Big South Freshman of the Year honors by rushing for a freshman school-record 668 yards and two touchdowns.
Previous Schools: Played one season at Dodge City Community College and two years at South Carolina … letterwinner at South Carolina, where he played eight games and started two contests … transferred to Liberty from Dodge City Community College.
Prep: Graduated from Dutch Fork High School … three-year letterwinner and starter … all-region as a senior and was named to the Shine Bowl roster.
