• St. Thomas Aquinas finished his junior year with a perfect 15-0 record, claiming a state and national championship
• Earned a second all-county honorable-mention nod as a senior, after finishing his final year with 26 tackles, five sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery
• St. Thomas Aquinas was ranked No. 1 in the country during his senior year before losing to Manatee High School in the state semifinal game, snapping a 37-game winning streak
