2010 (Sr.): Sat out the 2010 season to fulfill NCAA transfer rules.
Previous School: Transferred to Liberty from N.C. Central … ranked fifth on the team in total tackles as a sophomore with 40 stops … played in 10 games, posting 19 solo tackles and 21 assisted stops … also added a quarterback hurry, two pass breakups and a tackle for a loss … intercepted a pass and returned it 83 yards for a score against Duke … against No. 24 Liberty, he posted three tackles, including one solo stop … as a freshman, he finished the year with 13 tackles, including nine solo stops, two pass breakups and an interception … returned the interception 72 yards for the game-winning touchdown at North Carolina A&T … recorded a tackle in nine out of 10 games.
Prep: Graduated from Southeast Raleigh High School … two-time all-conference honoree … earned All-America honors and was named the team’s most valuable player as a senior … finished the year with 108 tackles, seven interceptions and eight touchdowns.
