An Inside Look from the Coaching Staff: Possesses all the skills to be a good defensive lineman … should be able to make the transition from tight end very easily … has tremendous speed for a guy of his size … has developed good skills for rushing the quarterback … athletics skills are paramount.
2010 (R-Fr.): Saw playing time in 10 out of 11 games … used mostly on special teams and as a reserve tight end … finished the season with one reception for six yards at VMI … as a member of Liberty’s special teams unit, he finished the year with 13 tackles, including eight assisted stops … recorded a fumble recovery during a kickoff against Stony Brook at home, helping the Flames clinch their fourth-straight Big South title.
