Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I always wanted to play at the D1 level for the sport that I love. I also wanted to build a relationship with God.
Â
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I always listen to music before a game to get locked in and in game mode. It's also to put me in a good mood. I do my same warm up before every game, same stretches.
Â
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mom inspires me because she is such a strong independent woman and I admire that.
Â
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
In 2022 in Colorado with my travel team, Tampa Mustangs Rene, I flipped my hips and ran backward towards the fence and jumped up so high to catch the ball.
Â
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I wear 88 because it has been my favorite since day 1.
Â
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
For breakfast, I like chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and eggs. For lunch, I like Caesar Salad and lemon pepper wings. For dinner, I like chicken and shrimp alfredo pasta.
Â
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
Teamworks
Â
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Hanging out with my friends.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
Usain Bolt
Â
What is your favorite possession and why?
My phone and squish mallows.
Â
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
I don't really have one. I love traveling, you could take me anywhere and I’d love the culture.
