
Liberty Softball Receives NFCA Academic Honors

The Liberty softball team has been recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for academic success.
The Lady Flames earned the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Academic Team award for the 10th time in the last 12 years.
Additionally, 15 Liberty student-athletes received mention on the list of Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
Liberty posted a team grade-point average of 3.26 during the 2024-25 academic year. Saint Louis earned the highest GPA in the nation, at 3.91.
The NFCA All-Academic Team award was given to each member institution that recorded a 3.0 or higher GPA during the 2024-25 academic year. A total of 163 NCAA Division I schools received the award.
Liberty redshirt senior Savannah Woodard, seniors Paige Bachman, Lilly Heidorn, Alyssa Henault and Rachel Roupe, juniors Brynn McManus and Aubry Norris, redshirt sophomore Savannah Jessee, sophomores JaMaya Byrum, Paige Doerr, Katie Love and Brooke Wildes, and freshmen Danner Allen, Aubrey Fulcher and Hallie Meeks were all named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
The Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete award is given to any softball player submitted by a member coach who attained a 3.50 grade-point average or higher during the 2024-25 academic year.
A total of 9,199 softball student-athletes received Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete distinction this year. The awardees represent seven different divisions, encompassing NCAA, NAIA, junior college and high school. NCAA Division I received 2,544 honorees.
