Name: The Vines Convocation Center
Site: Next to DeMoss Hall in the middle of the Liberty University campus
Capacity: 9,547 for men's basketball, 9,511 for women's basketball and 10,000 for special events
Construction: The main portion of the building is constructed of steel and concrete, and the roof is constructed with 10-foot triangular aluminum sections that are pieced together by Temcor, a roofing company out of Torrence, Calif.
Contractor: McDevitt & Street of Raleigh, N.C.
Architect: Haken/Corley and Associates of Raleigh, N.C.
Date of Completion: November, 1990
Facilities: The Vines Convocation Center includes four concession stands, basketball coaches offices, locker and team room facilities, a weight room, a training room, a hospitality room and press room
Playing Surface: The basketball court is a hardwood surface
