Recapping action from Tuesday – in men's hoops, Middle Tennessee topped Liberty, 69-61 at the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Zach Cleveland led the Flames with 17 points. Liberty wraps up the regular season on Saturday at home against Western Kentucky.
From baseball – Charleston downed Liberty, 8-2 on Tuesday. Liberty now returns home to start an eight-game homestand. Eleventh-ranked East Carolina visits Lynchburg for game one of a three-game set on Friday at 4 p.m.
Tonight, the Lady Flames basketball team is back at home and looking for it's sixth straight win – but it won't come easy. Liberty takes on CUSA regular season champ Middle Tennessee tonight at 7 p.m. at Liberty Arena in Lynchburg. The Blue Raiders are 24-4 and 14-0 in conference play.
