Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Monday, August 26, 2024, I'm Nick Pierce.
It's game week for Flames football! We're now just five days away from kickoff when Liberty opens the season against Campbell – this Saturday night at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg. Game time is at 6 p.m. Eastern.
Flames Head Coach Jamey Chadwell will address the media on Tuesday before his first appearance at the Liberty Football Show. The show will air live at Mellow Mushroom in Lynchburg on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. Fans can come join the show live in person or listen on www.LibertyFlames.com.
The Lady Flames soccer team remains unbeaten after Sunday's win. Liberty downed East Tennessee State, 3-1 in Johnson City. Sallie Garner and Isabella Wedemeyer each scored their first career goals. Liberty is now 4-0 on the year.
The Flames men's soccer team looks to go to 2-0 tonight. Liberty travels to Longwood for a seven o'clock match in Farmville, Va. Tonight's game can be seen on ESPN+.
