This past Saturday, four Liberty baseball players were selected in the 2014 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft. Flames' infielder Ryan Seiz, pitcher/outfielder Ashton Perritt, first baseman/catcher Alex Close and pitcher Adam Parks were choosen by major league teams during the MLB Draft. In addition, pitcher Matt Marsh signed a free agent minor league contract.
