Kenny George, the tallest man in college basketball, and the first-place UNC Asheville Bulldogs invade the Vines Center on Saturday. George, who has been featured this season in the New York Times and on ESPN's Game Day, stands 7-7 with a wing span over eight feet wide.
A native of Chicago, Ill., George is the third-leading scorer on the Bulldogs, averaging 13.1 points per game, including a team-high 7.9 rebounds per game. UNC Asheville is ranked No. 12 in the Mid-Major Top 25 poll and brings an 18-4 record, including a perfect 7-0 mark in Big South play, into Saturday's contest.
Liberty looks to avenge its narrow 74-70 defeat, inside the Justice Center on Jan. 12, after leading by three points with under two minutes remaining.
