
Porter Earns 3rd CSC Academic All-District® Team Nod

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty men's basketball senior Colin Porter has been honored on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team for a third straight year, as announced today by CSC.
Porter has been named to the academic all-district team in all three years he was eligible. To earn inclusion on the team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, a starter or key reserve, have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
Porter, a guard from Ashland, Ky., is currently maintaining a 3.84 GPA in his graduate studies (management & leadership). He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration in May 2025, earning a 3.66 GPA.
Porter also garnered CUSA All-Academic team distinction for a third straight year. His other academic honors include: NABC Honors Court, two-time CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal.
On the basketball court, Porter garnered All-CUSA honorable mention recognition for the second straight year. Porter and the Flames finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 26-8 overall record and 17-3 league mark, claiming the CUSA outright regular season title for a second straight year.
