Ilie Debuts as a Lady Flame at the ITA All-American Championships

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's tennis team will send Diana Ilie to compete at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C. Ilie will be making her debut appearance as a Lady Flame.

The nine-day event begins on Saturday with pre-qualifying for the first two days of the event.

She was on last season's Conference USA Championship team but was unable to participate in matches throughout the spring season.

Tournament Breakdown

Liberty returns eight to the 2026-27 roster from last season, including every participant in the 2026 CUSA Championship.
Ilie will begin the event in the pre-qualifying round that begins with 160 athletes. To advance to the qualifying bracket, she would need to win three matches.
Ten singles players (10) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (eight main draw quarterfinalists & two feed-in consolation finalists).
