
Liberty Cruises Past MTSU 10-2 Friday

Designated hitter Ryan Drumm hit two home runs, center fielder Josh Campos connected for a solo round-tripper, and second baseman Ethan Swofford belted a grand slam as Liberty jumped out to a 10-0 lead through 4 1/3 innings.
The Flames sent 10 men to the plate in the fifth inning, scoring seven runs on four hits, including a solo home run by Drumm and Swofford's grand slam, to take a commanding lead.
Meanwhile, Swink kept Middle Tennessee in check, allowing two runs, one earned, on seven hits over a career-high seven innings.
Swofford went 2-for-3 with a walk, four RBI and two runs scored for Liberty, while Drumm also had two hits, driving in three runs and scoring twice.
