The right-hander has posted a win and four saves over his last five appearances. Harrington has not allowed a run over his last 12 innings in his last six appearances. This past weekend, he picked up the win in Liberty's 7-6 win over Jax State on Saturday. He then struck out the side in the ninth to save the Flames' 4-2 victory over Jax State on Sunday.
Kyle Hvidsten, C
The catcher went 4-for-7 with two home runs and three RBI, helping the Flames win the final two games of their series with Jax State. Hvidsten hit a home run in each of the wins. His second home run
of the weekend on Sunday gave Liberty the lead in its 4-2 victory.
Out On the Road
• Liberty went 5-0 on its latest road trip, capping it off with an 11-4 victory over Virginia Tech last Tuesday. With the win, the Flames moved to 11-3 on the road this season.
• Flames are scheduled to play 25 games on the road in 2026. Liberty has 11 road games left.
• Liberty finished its regular season with a 10-14 mark on the road in 2025.
Barone Breaks Out
• Nick Barone had quite the month of March. The left fielder hit a team-leading .348, driving in 17 runs and scoring 17 runs.
• Barone went 14-for-14 in stolen bases during March and enters the week fifth in CUSA with 15.
• Barone followed the month up by blasting two home runs in the Flames' sweep at Western Kentucky,Â
April 2-4. On April 4, the outfielder belted a grand slam in the ninth inning to tie the game at 5-5 during Liberty's six-run inning for a come-from-behind 6-5 win.
• The outfielder also added a four-RBI night this past Tuesday in the Flames' 11-4 win at Virginia  Tech.
• For the season, Barone has hit .301 with 29 RBI and 26 runs scored. He has five home runs.
Marsh Marches On
• Liberty starting shortstop Tanner Marsh has been one of the Flames' top offensive threats in 2026.
• The junior has sparked the Liberty offense, leading the Flames with a .350 batting average, 30 RBI and 37 runs scored.
•The Flames' leadoff hitter also leads in hits with 50 and slugging percentage with a .545 percentage.
• The infielder has had a 15-game hitting streak, the longest streak of his career earlier in the season and reached base in each of the first 18 games. He enters
Tuesday's game having at least one hit in 10 straight games and reaching base in 16Â consecutive contests.
• Defensively, he has continued his strong play, committing three errors in 145 chances for a .979 fielding percentage.
• Marsh, along with right-handed pitcher Ben Blair, was named to the 2026 CUSA Preseason All-Conference Team.
• Marsh has started every game at shortstop for the Flames since joining the Liberty roster in 2024.
• Last season, the infielder hit .295 with 52 runs scored, 22 RBI, 11 doubles, and two home runs in 56 games.
