
Flames Complete Sweep of Central Michigan with 8-2 Victory

In the victory, the Flames received solid pitching performances from starter Dylan Mathiesen and relievers Jack Frankel and Trey Cooper. Meanwhile, Liberty took advantage of eight walks and four errors and some timely hitting during the middle innings to pull away for the win.
Frankel, who entered in the fourth inning, pitched four scoreless innings to record the win and run his record to 2-1 on the year. He retired 11 in a row to finish his outing.
Liberty not only completes the three-game sweep but wins its fourth consecutive contest. The Flames move to 11-4 on the year. Central Michigan drops to 2-13.
