
Liberty Tops Campbell 4-1

Liberty right-handers Dylan Mathiesen, Jack Frankel and Garrett McLaughlin combined to hold Campbell to one run on six hits, walk one batter and gave up only one extra base in the game.
Meanwhile, held scoreless by Camels' starting pitcher Mason Smith through the first six innings, Liberty broke through in the seventh. After Tanner Marsh singled, Sorenson gave Liberty a 2-0 lead with his fourth home run of the year.
Moore added to the Flames' advantage in the top of the ninth, blasting a two-run home run, his first of the year, to up the Liberty to lead to 4-1.
Liberty moves to 8-4 on the year. Campbell falls to 4-8.
