Marsh Marches On
• Liberty starting shortstop Tanner Marsh was the Flames' top returning offensive threat from the 2025 season and he has lived up to that billing in 2026.
• The junior has sparked the Liberty offense, leading the Flames with a .339 batting average and runs with 29.
• He also tops Liberty in hits with 33, RBI with 27 and slugging percentage with a .551 percentage.
• The infielder has had a 15-game hitting streak, the longest streak of his career earlier in the season and reached base in each of the first 18 games.
• On March 10, he posted his first four-hit game of the year in Liberty's 12-10 victory at UNCG.
• Marsh, along with right-handed pitcher Ben Blair, was named to the 2026 CUSA Preseason All-Conference Team.
• Marsh has started every game at shortstop for the Flames since joining the Liberty roster in 2024.
• Last season, the infielder hit .295 with 52 runs scored, 22 RBI, 11 doubles, and two home runs in 56 games.
• He also stole a team-high 18 bases and led the Flames with 21 multi-hit games.

• Barone has gone 14-for-14 in stolen bases during March and enters the week tied for third in CUSA with 15.
• Barone followed the month up by blasting two home runs over the weekend in the Flames' sweep at Western Kentucky. This past Saturday, outfielder belted a grand slam in the ninth
inning to tie the game at 5-5 during Liberty's six-run inning for a come-from-behind 6-5Â win.
• For the season, Barone has hit .296 with 23 RBI and 24 runs scored. He has four home runs.
Jaffe Provides a Spark
• Since his return to the lineup on March 7 against Harvard, Jordan Jaffe has bolstered the Flames' lineup. Jaffe has hit .329 with 12 RBI and 17 runs scored over 19 games.
• Hitting third in the Liberty batting order, Jaffe has had the second most hits on the team over the span with 27, three doubles and two home runs, his only roundtrippers on the season.
• Jaffe has posted a .371 on-base percentage and a .439 slugging percentage since his return.
