The Liberty women's basketball team visited Historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Ky. for the first time on Thursday. The day began with press conferences for seniors Emma Hess, Jordan Hodges and Bella Smuda and Head Coach Carey Green. The Lady Flames then took the court for a 90-minute practice.
No. 13 seed Liberty will play at No. 4 seed Kentucky Friday at noon in the Lady Flames' first NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship contest since 2018. The game will air live on ESPN. Jamie Hall will also call his 20th Liberty women's basketball NCAA Tournament game, with his broadcast available on LibertyFlames.com and the Liberty Flames mobile app.
