
Flames Practice & Meet With Media at March Madness

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Liberty Flames men's basketball team visited Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Wash. for the first time on Thursday. The day began with press conferences with Jayvon Maughmer, Taelon Peter and Zach Cleveland, followed by Head Coach Ritchie McKay. The Flames then took the court for a 40-minute open practice.
No. 12 seed Liberty (28-6) will face No. 5 seed Oregon (24-9) on Friday at 10:10 p.m. Eastern in the Flames' first NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship contest since 2021. The game will air live on truTV.
Alan York and Paul Nazigian will be on the call for the Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN), with their broadcast available locally on the radio in Lynchburg (107.5 FM) and in Roanoke (101.1 FM).
